Sprouts · ages 5–6
Usually ages 5–6 · Topics follow the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics
Kindergarten math is about number sense: counting objects, knowing how many are in a group, and seeing that numbers can be put together and taken apart. The Common Core asks kindergartners to count to 100 by ones and tens, count up to 20 objects, compare numbers, and add and subtract within 10.
Number Quest's Sprouts trail (ages 5–6) is made for this stage. Questions use dots, groups and shapes instead of long text, answers are big tap targets, and a round takes a few minutes.
