Sprouts · ages 5–6
Usually ages 5–6 · Topics follow the National curriculum in England: mathematics programmes of study
Year 1 is the start of Key Stage 1. The national curriculum asks children to count to and across 100, learn number bonds to 20, add and subtract one- and two-digit numbers to 20, and recognise halves and quarters.
Number Quest's Sprouts trail (ages 5–6) builds these foundations with dots, groups and shapes, big answer buttons and short rounds.
